We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Call Operators to join our out of hours emergency accommodation service. The role involves receiving calls from people who need emergency accommodation. You will assess the need for this, and if required place people in temporary accommodation whilst liaising with the relevant local authorities to keep them informed.

We are looking for people who can continue the already successful delivery of the service, you will be friendly and have an understanding of some of the issues faced by people making the calls. We are looking for compassionate and non-judgemental individuals who can help to support people over the phone who are having a difficult time.

These roles are on a rota that is made up of evening, nighttime, and weekend night shifts. This will be based in our Young Parents accommodation service in Sutton-in-Ashfield where you will be required to ensure the safety of the location and support and residents of the service where required.
