Are you enthusiastic about leadership, Organisational Development (OD), and culture change? We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated individual with a track record of successfully facilitating a wide range of OD activities/interventions to come and join us in TEWV. As a member of our OD team, you will role model our organisational values and behaviours and help bring our journey to change and the NHS People Plan to life. Engaging senior leaders, managers, and teams in a wide range of settings, you will use your skills and experience to recognise and define their needs, by researching, designing, facilitating delivering, and evaluating programmes to strengthen leadership capability and build a culture of excellence. You will be accountable to the OD Practitioner and work closely with the team, you will ensure the consistent delivery of existing high-quality leadership, OD interventions including coaching, change management and promoting and talent conversations across the Trust. The post-holder will work with leaders across the Trust, and beyond, to deliver activity in line with the NHS People Plan that supports our commitment to engaging and developing staff which in turn, improves patient care. The post-holder will be actively involved in the whole employee life cycle from on-boarding to exiting the Trust.Main duties of the jobTo lead the research, design, delivery, implementation, and evaluation of programmes across the Trust. Coaching/mentoring, including 360-degree feedback and strategic planning. To measure the the return of investment of bespoke development activities, using evaluation tools. Consult with relevant clients across the Care Groups, creating effective, evidence based OD initiatives and specific development interventions. Present and communicate to a wide range of professional and clinical groups, working on culture and change programmes. Work in partnership with internal professions.Report and make recommendations for implementation. Positively influence senior management on complex change, encouraging a strategic and people-orientated approach. Lead the development and implementation of OD policies and processes across the Trust, specifically leadership development and talent pipelines. Analyse, interpret data and provide recommendations to managers and leaders when the information available is conflicting and unclear, providing timely and accurate feedback/reports on OD and engagement activities.To provide organisational development and project management expertise through the flexible use of appropriate tools, techniques, influencing and change management skills to support a wide range of Trust strategies demonstrating a good understanding of the business needs from areas outside own area of practice.About usWe are the Mental Health & Learning Disability NHS Trust for County Durham and Darlington, Teesside, North Yorkshire, York and Selby. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area such as Human Resources Management, Organisational Development, Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards in an agreed timeframe) Development OR demonstrable experience working in the professional field Evidence of Continuing Professional Development and professional development Project management Proven CPD Record
Desirable
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Professional or health related qualification Coaching qualification ILM or CMI leadership and management qualification Prince 2 project management NLP Practitioner Specific OD Practitioner Certification e.g., Insights Discovery Accreditation, MBTI, HLM 360 Practitioner, Coaching, Mentoring.

Experience of embedding organisational values Excellent working knowledge of NHS Ability to manage/prioritise own work but also to work collaboratively to achieve common goals & maximise resources. Trending issues/themes in organisational development Understanding of culture and systems thinking Proven track record of delivering multiple interventions across a broad audience, simultaneously. Proven experience of research, design, delivery, and evaluation of development programmes Delivering interventions linked to leadership / culture and change. Experience of working with a wide range of providers to ensure effective and efficient delivery.

Ability to work with individuals and teams in disharmony and distress whist maintaining a calm, centred and focused demeanour for an effective and efficient outcome for the individual or team High awareness of emotional intelligence to lead individuals and groups in their own personal development to improve individual and team functioning.
