Our values: we lead, we trust, we listen, we care, we respect are integral to all that we do.About the role and teamWorking closely with the Strategic HR & OD Manager, Organisational Change Manager, Business Service leads, HR, and Transformation Teams you will take responsibility to deliver our 3-year Strategic Workforce Plan.Using your experience and expertise, you will develop our Workforce review programme, providing Business Service leads with insight, direction, and practical tools to assist them in developing deliverable service workforce plans, which meet transformation objectives. You will support the implementation of service reviews, by developing effective communication and engagement plans, keeping key stakeholders and employees informed.You will identify workforce and learning gaps and provide innovative and interactive approaches to meet these, supporting the development of effective workforce projects. You will be the main driver in keeping us on track to meet the key milestones and overall programme objectives to transform Mole Valley into a Council of the future.What are we looking for from you?You will have significant recent experience in delivering organisational change. Shown through successful strategic workforce plans and organisational re-designs implementation.You will demonstrate digital proficiency and data confidence. This will include being creative and innovative when approaching digital solutions and using insight to improve outcomes and engagement at all levels.You will understand the importance and value of change leadership. Demonstrating your ability to embed culture, capability and confidence building across large audiences at all levels.You will be a confident communicator. A credible and trusted operator able to persuade and influence across and upwards in an organisation.You are a positive and inspiring role model confidently supporting organisational change.**Note this is a fixed term 12-month contract (or secondment)**For a full copy of the Job Role and Responsiblities click here.For youHybrid working with flexibility.We’re less about you driving to work and more about driving down our carbon footprint (meeting our pledge to be carbon neutral by 2030).In support of our people and our Climate Change Strategy, we welcome hybrid working and are happy to talk flexible working too, where appropriate to the role.Our hybrid working policy offers many employees the opportunity to work from home up to three days a week should they want to (pro rata for part time working).About usFor an informal chat about the role, please contact Charlie Skinner, Strategic HR & OD manager:
