To provide innovative solutions to our clients’ business needs by delivering and assisting in managing all stages of a customer project including demonstrations, design, development and implementation of the Oracle applications in which we specialise.
Additionally, to play a leadership/guiding role to junior resources alongside, or in the absence of, a Principal Consultant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working remotely, at the London based HQ or at client sites across the UK and Europe (and possibly
beyond).
Key Activities
Performing a senior technical role, guiding Consultants and client personnel on best- practice techniques;
Performing a team leader role, leading and managing teams on customer projects;
Coaches more junior consultants in the company’s delivery approach and standards;
Designing and architecting solutions,consisting of but not limited to:
Conducting end user interviews with our customers' users, for the purposes of identifying gaps and challenges with their user experience and user journeys.
Leading and facilitating user experience focusedworkshops with customers
Leading workshops and client meetings to understand the Business Requirements where further detail is needed;
Eliciting and challenging the customer’s Business Requirements and potentially
supporting the documentation of these requirements;
Leading solution designs, describing how the Oracle application, or a module of the Oracle application, fits in to the rest of the architecture;
Prototyping and designing wireframes to support user interface and user experience design activities
Creating functional designs, high-level designs and low level designs as appropriate.
Providing implementation, enhancement and support of Oracle application based solutions, consisting of but not limited to:
Learning, and keeping up to date with Oracle application configuration skills;
Configuring the Packaged Software to support the business requirements and end user experience goals;
Configuring the Packaged Software to support integration to other packaged and custom software;
Supporting testing and deployment of the application solutions;
Supporting design and execution of data migration activities.
Identifying where Packaged Software design decisions can have wider impacts, and raising those to client and/or Consulting personnel;
Communicating technical solutions to both client and Consulting staff in a clear and concise manner;
Delivering demonstrations, as part of pre-sales or during implementations;
Interfacing with key client staff on a day-to-day basis;
Potentially acting as the most senior Consultant on a client site, and managing the client relationship day-to-day;
Providing accurate estimates for work being carried out by oneself and by team members;
Identifying and raising, risks and issues; and
Managing hours so that timelines are achieved in accordance with the quality standards.
Occasional Activities
Identification of opportunities to help customers further;
Creation of blog entries for the company blog;
Assisting the Marketing Manager and Business Development personnel in producing technically accurate marketing offerings;
Engaging with Oracle as part of understanding more about the products in which we specialise and their roadmaps;
Training new Consulting personnel, or end-customer personnel;
Creation and maintenance of Best Practice Technical Notes, as well as internal Training Courses, covering modules of the Packaged Software;
Training on, and implementation of, non-core technologies at clients or Consulting;
Making presentations to customers, either as part of a project or during Consulting’s sales activities;
Core Organisational Activities
Maintaining own levels of Continuing Professional Development relevant to the role and needs of Consulting;
Reviewing, evaluating and developing own contribution to Consulting;
Ensuring compliance with quality systems;
Providing support for colleagues;
Operating within the organisation’s confidentiality guidelines.
Skills & Experience
Mandatory:
Strong implementation experience with either Oracle Eloqua or Oracle Responsys
Experience of designing architectures including Eloqua and/or Responsys
Experience of developing multi-stage campaigns for a customer
Awareness of data protection
Experience working with Marketing stakeholders to define and refine requirements of solution to be created in Oracle Marketing
Nice to have:
Experience of integrating Eloqua/Responsys with Oracle Sales/Engagement/B2C Sales & Service
Familiarity with integrating Eloqua/Responsys to non-Oracle systems
