The Role:
The Project team seeks a skilled Oracle Developer to support ongoing enhancements across HR, Payroll, Finance, and Customer Support functions. The role involves optimising data management and analytics for a 35,000-user user base and transitioning to Oracle Cloud.
Collaborating with a high-performing software development team, responsibilities include Java development, Oracle Database management, ETL implementation, live service optimisation, ODI utilisation, and Oracle BI Suite expertise. On-call support ensures seamless operations, making this role pivotal in driving project success.
Required Experience:
Active Home Office SC Clearance
Java Proficiency: Strong Java skills, specifically with the current Oracle version.
Oracle Database and PL/SQL: Deep understanding of Oracle Database and proficiency in PL/SQL.
ETL Knowledge: Experience with ETL processes, especially with complex ERP systems.
Live Service Optimization: Ability to optimize live services for performance.
ODI Understanding: Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
Oracle BI Suite: Knowledge of Oracle BI Suite, including data visualization tools like BIP and OAX/OBIA.
Metis Live Service Familiarity: Understanding of Metis Live Service and analytics requirements.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work with a Java ETL/Oracle SQL developer team.
On-Call Support: Availability for on-call support to maintain and evolve ETL processes, including troubleshooting.
