Operations Technician – Anaerobic Digestion

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an experienced Operations Technician / Plant Operator to join an Anaerobic Digestion plant near Speybridge.

As the Operations Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Day-day operations of a newly upgraded Anaerobic Digestion plant
• Operating plant via SCADA
• Carrying out plant checks and responding to breakdowns/faults
• Feeding fuel using a telehandler/mobile plant
• Upkeep of plant
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Proven operations experience on an Anaerobic Digestion/similar process plant eg: water treatment, distillery, chemical etc.
• The ability to operate a forklift; tickets are advantageous but not essential
• Marine engineers with significant watchkeeping experience will be considered for this role
• Full UK driving licence
• The ability to work on a shift basis including nights
