We are currently recruiting aService Delivery/Operations Supervisorto join our events team in Bolton.As aService Delivery/Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of security personnel and ensuring the safety and security of all event attendees.If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for event security, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Hours:45 hours per weekMustbe flexible to cover days, evenings, weekends and bank holidaysPay & Benefits£28,080 rising to £29,250 per year after successful completion of probationary period and additional trainingMandatory Training Programme - Completion BonusFREE First Aid & SIA Top-up Training*WagestreamEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Health Cash PlanExcluSec Perks & RewardsRole:To supervise and manage a team of event security and stewarding staffduring eventsTo ensure that Key Performance Indicators are met and any areas of improvement are identified.To provide support to teams leaders and operational staffacross a portfolio of events, venues and stadiums.To schedule rosters ensuring shifts arescheduled correctly as per client requirements.To ensure that any issues are promptly raised to the appropriate manager as not to effect shift coverage or client’s satisfactionTo complete regular site visits and employee welfare checks to ensure compliance with company policies and SIA licensing requirementsTo ensure every event, venue and stadium have sufficient welfare and logistics equipment on siteTo review, complete and implement site documentation including crowd management plans, event briefings, and risk assessments in line with the relevant British Standards and relevant Health & Safety legislation.To assist the Service Delivery Support Managerin the mobilisation of new events, venues and stadiumsTo support and coach new and existing employees through the Mandatory Training ProgrammeTo conduct HR support duties including investigations, disciplinaries, employment reviews, probationary reviews, and annual appraisals with employees in accordance with company policies and in consultation with the Business Support TeamTo assist the Business Support Team in the recruitment of new employees ensuring selected applicants can demonstrate the required standards as per the requirements of the role.To ensure a safe working environment, which adheres to statutory obligations aligned to Health and Safety at Work legislation.To undertake such additional duties as are reasonably commensurate with the level of the post.Job RequirementsA valid frontline SIA licence (minimumDoor Supervision) is essentialA full UK driving licence is essentialALevel 3 Spectator Safety (or higher)qualificationis essentialA recognised Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safetyis preferredThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamis essentialA flexible approach to work is essentialThe ability to be pro-active and use own initiativeis essentialPrevious supervisory experience in the security industry is essentialPrevious experience in asimilar roleis essentialExcellent communication and customer service skillsis essentialExcellent command of English, both written and verbalis essentialThe confidence and ability to deal with difficult situations (including those involving conflict) is essential.Eligibility to work in the UKis essentialA 5 year verifiable work historyis essential
