Position: Operations Operative – Test & Assembly

My client, a leader in the aerospace industry are on the lookout for a talented Test and Assembly Operative.

Role and Responsibilities –

In this role, you will be carrying out tasks to build and test hydraulic equipment for mechanical assembled parts. This will be from scratch all the way to final inspection.

Other responsibilities include:

• Complete self-inspection of components and related cleaning, to enable Quality Inspection and control checks to be carried out
• To follow strict health and safety guidelines, including the wearing of all specified PPE
• Company procedures to be followed and records maintained to ensure full traceability of components and activities

Experience or Qualifications –

• Previous experience within a test and assembly environment
• Testing of hydraulic or electro-mechanical products (desirable)
• Ability to follow engineering drawings with industry instructions
• Highly pragmatic and analytical

Candidates who currently are an Operations Operative, Assembly Operative, Assembly Technician or Test Technician would be suitable for this position.
