RAVIC (Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre) will support SRUCs mission to address global challenges in human and animal health, agriculture, and aquaculture, leading planetary health innovation in Scotland.
By offering world class facilities, technology, and expertise this unique hub will deliver new technologies, products, and services to drive growth in Scotlands blue and green economies. RAVIC forms part of SRUCs new School of Veterinary Medicine and is also home to SRUCs Centre for Epidemiology and Planetary Health (CEPH).
Not only will the facility be a base for SAC Consulting and SRUC Veterinary Services across the North of Scotland, but it will also host commercial tenants. By providing an accessible physical presence for northern rural locations, this essential hub will promote regional economic growth in the Highlands (and beyond) through research, collaboration, and innovation.
The Opportunity:
The purpose of this post is to act as Operations Manager for the Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre (RAVIC), to support SRUC research, teaching, and commercialisation activities, SAC commercial work, and external RAVIC members including tenant companies by providing a high-quality management and administrative service.
A significant portion of the role involves front of house activities, including welcoming guests and managing onsite building user needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be educated to SCQF Level 10 or above.

Working Arrangements
We provide many staff with the opportunity to flexibly combine on-site and remote working, where job roles allow, balancing the needs of our community of staff, students, clients and partners.
This role is based on-site 5 days per week, due to the nature of the job.
Eligibility for Sponsorship
This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. If you are a migrant worker you will need to ensure you have an appropriate visa to evidence the necessary right to work in the UK.
