Operations Manager

As a Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the Underwriting Department within Consumer Lending. Your role will include the day-to-day management of supervisors and Underwriters to ensure optimal consumer outcomes. Collaborating closely with the Head of Consumer Lending and the Senior Lending Operations Manager, you’ll drive the balance between quality, risk, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

* Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a departmental management role within the financial services industry, preferably in second charge mortgage lending.

* Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

* Analytical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using analytics tools.

* Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

* Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of FCA regulation, Mcob, and consumer duty.

* Certification: CEMAP is desirable.
