Job Title: Operations Manager



Location:� SW London �



Salary: �55,000 per annum



We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a commercial building in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the building's engineering infrastructure, managing a team of engineers and technicians, The Company prides itself on providing quality service from the best team of qualified engineers and technicians.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest levels of performance and productivity.

  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring that all equipment is serviced and maintained to the highest standards.

  • Manage all aspects of the engineering budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and kept within agreed limits.

  • Ensure the smooth running of the building's engineering infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, ensuring their needs and requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Ensure that all engineering works are carried out to the highest standards, in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.





Key Requirements:




  • Strong technical knowledge across a range of engineering disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire systems.

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar Engineering Manager role, ideally within a commercial building environment.

  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with tenants, contractors and other stakeholders.

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.

  • Adhere to companies high performance culture and promote this within the working environment
