Location: North-West England based, UK wide workload

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our clients' team. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of energy and building services projects across the UK and this role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in operations management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee multiple energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of project managers, engineers, and other operational staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize project efficiency and productivity.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for all operational matters.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure all projects meet regulatory and company standards.
Health and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and prepare financial reports. Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and operational issues to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Proven experience in operations management within the energy, building services, or related industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Ability to travel across the UK as required.
