The company also offer a number of value-added processes to help customers receive orders how they want to receive them, saving clients valuable time and energy.The Role:Reporting to the General Manager the Operations Manager will lead a continuous improvement operation/culture that meets the needs of the customer while supporting growth, improving efficiency, and minimizing risk to the business. To ensure value for money is achieved in all operational expenditure while overseeing and maintaining all health safe legal requirements.Role Responsibilities:Stock ControlResponsible for ensuring all SPI’s are followed and to identify procedural inefficiencies, develop solutions and implement improvements.EquipmentResponsible for the maintenance of all equipment and Warehouse Assets and for service providers to be cost effective.Production ControlResponsible for the efficiency of production and the quality of the goods produced.Customer ServiceResponsible for identifying and resolving delays to service and to develop operating practices to support growth.Transportation & DriversEnsure company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures including Tacos and Drivers HoursOperations Managers are responsible for the compliance of the operator’s license and driver training.Health & SafetyOperation Managers are responsible for the upkeep of procedures and ongoing training related to Health & Safety in the workplace.People & DevelopmentResponsible for all training and development of the warehouse team.This role needs an individual who has a track record and passion for delivering operational excellence.
