Our goal where possible is to automate and innovate, making sure the right tools are in place to enable the team to work as a business-enabling function rather than huddling over Excel running manual repetitive tasks.What you can expect to be doing: Auditable safeguarded account reconciliations, complying with Payment Services Regulations 2017 (PSRs) Daily reconciliation of payments Reconcile all customer accounts through multiple products, spanning cash and investments Ensure accurate accounting of payment transactions Setup and continuous improvement of reporting and reconciliation processes Work with engineering teams to ensure accurate reporting and distribution of information across the business Work with the product team on new features to understand financial operations impacts and new requirements Capacity planning, team management, coaching and career development What we’re looking for: At least 4 years experience in finance operations, ideally having taken part in setting up new reconciliation processes Experience managing a small team of analysts In-depth understanding of control frameworks and safeguarding regulations, preferably from working in a regulated environment Experience within a high-growth business Intermediate-advanced Excel Continuous improvement approach
