We are thrilled to be recruiting for a well-established training provider with over 25 years of experience. Due to new contracts, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join this thriving team.

Role: Operations and Contracts Manager
Salary: Up to £55k with bonus
Benefits: 25 days annual leave + public holidays, BUPA, and an employee well-being plan
Location: Covering Greater London and the Home Counties, with a head office easily accessible by public transport from central London
Working Arrangements: A blend of home working, head office presence, and visibility around the delivery centres

Company Overview: A South East England training provider delivering a wide range of Government Training Programmes, including Apprenticeships, Boot Camps, and AEB short courses across various vocational subjects.
About the Role: Due to growth, we have a new position for an Operations Manager. This role involves managing a portfolio of contracts under the Adult Education Budget (AEB), and leading a team of around 20 delivery and support staff. The Operations Manager will drive delivery performance and outcomes for prime and potential sub-contract delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee AEB contracts for both employed and unemployed learners, including short courses and Skills Bootcamps
Lead from the front, ensuring high standards in delivery performance and outcomes
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
Utilize creativity and influence to drive performance management
Ensure compliance with AEB funding requirements and effectively manage data to influence quality and learner outcomes
Be visible and present across delivery centres in Greater London and the Home Counties

Requirements:
Proven track record in managing AEB contracts
Strong performance management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
In-depth knowledge of AEB funding
Ideally educated to degree standard and holding management qualifications. A Teachers and Assessors award is highly desirable but not essential
Expertise in data management to drive and influence quality, compliance, and learner outcomes
Extensive experience and knowledge of Ofsted Inspection, ESFA and the Education Inspection Framework
Willingness to travel across the South East of England and be visible at delivery centres
