About the Role:
Reporting to Board, the successful candidate will need proven leadership skills and be a data-driven strategic thinker. They will develop and own the operational strategic plan that will guide the business for the next 5 years and ensure the delivery of the overall business objectives. They will develop and leverage key stakeholder relationships, utilising experience gained from a strong background in manufacturing, process engineering and international supply chain management. Collaborating within the leadership team for the engineering and manufacturing divisions, the role will involve delivering new technology and ideas around manufacturing methods and equipment, for both existing and new products.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong engineering knowledge, ideally MEng / BEng, with an excellent understanding of engineering principles, covering process and manufacturing operations.
Proven track record in international supply chain management & international negotiations, ideally across Asia.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
With commercial and financial acumen, the successful candidate will be highly competent in problem solving, team building, planning, and decision making.
Expertise in decision making in technically complex matters.
Knowledge / experience of robotic production, vision systems, tooling principles, high speed stamping, micro turning technologies, plastic moulding, electro plating an advantage.
Passion for sustainability preferred.
