As Operations Controller you will managing drivers and vehicles, ensuring that legal requirements are roadworthy and drivers work within the EU driver regulations. Effective site management in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant H&S regulations.Job responsibilities of an Operations Controller include:Manager's KPI reports and stats sheet to be updated weekly on the network drive, the information analysed and appropriate follow up action taken.Depot budgets are continually reviewed to ensure targets are met.Depot reports to be completed daily, in agreed timelines.Manage driver recruitment, liaising with the driver trainer to ensure all new drivers are correctly assessed, interviewed and inducted into the business.Driver manning levels are saved on the planning drive at least 2 weeks before the start the week. The driver manning levels must detail which drivers are allocated to whichvehicles correctly within the week. The driver manning levels must also detail any drive holiday, any agreed overtime shifts, vehicles booked in for maintenance and any VORvehiclesQualifications As part of our drive to makeStobarta great place to work.
