Operating for over 30 years, our client specialises in manufacturing and installing roof glazing and canopy systems. As experts in their field, they provide a comprehensive service, from initial enquiry to design, manufacturing, and installation. They provide a variety glazing products to diverse sectors, including rail, retail, education and more.

Due to ongoing success, our client is looking for an Operations Co-Ordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will handle and assist with various operational tasks, including manufacture planning and control, transport and logistics, personnel, maintenance, stock control, procurement, suppliers' management, H&S and quality.

(Operations Co-ordinator) - Position Overview

Maintenance control - (not hands on)
HR control of factory personnel including recruitment, training, monitoring attendance/sickness.
Assist with factory Health & Safety by conducting risk assessments, safety inspections and enforcing H&S procedures.
Quality and process control, monitoring CE & ISO procedures, reporting non-conformance and actioning.
Assist with the planning & co-ordination of the factory and maintenance by planning maintenance scheduling, and co-ordinate with service providers.
Purchasing of machinery, equipment, and parts.
Raising and send purchase orders (Pos), monitor & update Pos, and assist with month-end process including reports and invoice queries.
Coordinate with suppliers, manging relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
Monitoring and update supplier records with supplier performance and non-conformances.(Operations Co-ordinator) - Position Requirements

Experience with Sage
Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages
Time management skills
Good communication skills - both written and verbal
H&S awareness
Experience in an operations role within a manufacturing setting.(Operations Co-ordinator) - Position Remuneration

37 hours PW - Mon to Fri - 8:30 to 17:00 (16:30 Friday)
Salary £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
