At our nurseries in Norwich and Ely, we've become one of the first growers to use waste heat from water treatment plants and reservoirs, reducing our carbon footprint by up to 60%. We now account for nearly 20% of tomatoes and 25% of cucumbers grown in the UK!
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Operations Assistant, supporting the management team and the Ely site....
Main Responsibilities:
Daily, weekly and monthly site checks to maintain compliance with hygiene, fire safety, H&S and good management, as directed by the management team.
To identify areas of improvement when conducting health and safety checks and report these back to the management team.
To assist the maintenance team when additional team members are required to perform particular duties.
To put into practice agreed recommendations made by others for site improvements.
Stock checking and ordering for housekeeping, PPE and sundries required by the site.
To assist the growing team as necessary, especially for holiday cover and crop turnaround periods.
