We’re looking for an inquisitive, meticulous, and proactive individual to join Akkar’s growing Operations team. As Operations Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and efficient functioning of Akkar’s day-to-day operations.
This position requires
an extremely
detail-oriented individual with
exceptional
organisational and communication skills, capable of collaborating with various functions within the Operations team to streamline processes and manage administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Global Operations Manager to provide comprehensive administrative support to Akkar’s Operations team.
Undertake monthly payroll administrative tasks such as processing expense claims for US and UK workers.
Support with composing routine written correspondence from Human Resources e.g., promotions, changes of reporting line etc.
Maintain up-to-date electronic filing systems/databases including employee folders and general business documentation.
Provide ad-hoc administrative support to Global Operations Manager
Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance operational efficiency.
Confidently assist with invoice processing, reconciliation, and liaising with Akkar’s clients to ensure timely payments.
We’re looking for:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in the use of office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Proven experience in administrative roles is preferred, particularly within the setting of Operations, Finance or Human Resources teams.
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is desirable.
A formal qualification in business administration, operations management, or a related field is a plus.
