Operations Administrator

Satis Wealth Management are currently seeking an Operations Administrator to join our team. This role will focus on the production of management information to help in the running of the business and ensure that Satis meet all reporting requirements under Consumer Duty. Extremely strong excel and word skills are required for this role and will be tested during the interview process. The desire to develop process is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

Management Information -

  • Keep all back office systems up to date to produce high quality outputs
  • Compile and present monthly, quarterly and annual management information
  • Review FCA publications and propose new management information as required
  • Design new ways to present management information for both internal and external use
  • Assist in compiling FCA returns to be approved by the Compliance Officer and Operations Director
  • Assist in preparing meeting packs for the quarterly Satis committees and board meetings
  • Prepare information as requested for the annual audit and various certifications that Satis

Other responsibilities -

  • Use collated management information to suggest improvements to internal process and monitor risk
  • Assist in maintaining the company ICARA, including wind down plan and stress testing
  • Audit the company charging structure to ensure it is applied correctly
  • Monitor and report on work flow
  • Provide financial information and forecasts to allow accounts to be completed

Skills Required

  • Very strong IT skills including Excel and Word
  • Ability to present information and propose new process ideas

Employment Details

  • Full time hours of work: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch each day.
  • Location of work: Role will be office based 5 days per week
  • Remuneration will be dependent on experience circa £26-28k
  • The package will include:
  • Death In Service scheme cover (4 x salary).
  • Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%) subject to eligibility.
  • Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to 1 week’s salary.
  • Private Medical Insurance following completion of a 3 month probationary period (this is a taxable benefit).
  • Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory) following completion of a 3 month probationary period.
  • Annual Leave will be 23 days per annum, 3 days are normally taken at Christmas/New Year.
