Pin Point Recruitment are looking for an Operations Administrator to join a manufacturing company based in Peterborough.



As the Operations Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the site by undertaking a variety of administrative tasks. You most also ensure that high quality customer service and hospitality is provided to both internal and external clients.



Key Tasks:




  • Create a welcoming environment and manage reception and hospitality areas

  • Operate multi-line telephone system to answer, screen and forward calls and take messages

  • Ensure the catering needs of all meetings are met and provide refreshments to all Clients and visitors as required

  • Deal with general enquiries providing information to visitors and staff as appropriate

  • Various facilities duties as required; this will include meeting room set up, delivery and removal of catering from meeting rooms, mailroom services and security access procedures for visitors and new joiners.

  • Contractor management: including sign in and completion of permits to work etc.

  • Receive deliveries, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail

  • Weekly order of groceries supplies – milk, fruit etc.

  • Book all Concierge requests: travel arrangements, accommodation, staff collections etc. in accordance with the instructions given

  • Invoicing/credit notes; assisting Client Services/Finance in line with month end requirements

  • Data input and data capture; maintaining site IT systems as required

  • Provide clerical support services to senior staff as requested

  • Facilities administration: including maintaining records for key control and staff lockers

  • Responsible for internal site communications – upkeep of TV screens and all notice boards



Skills Required:




  • Strong general administration experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Outlook applications

  • Strong organisational skills to plan, prioritise and deliver on role responsibilities

  • Experience with data input

  • Enjoys interaction with clients/staff and providing a high standard of customer care

  • Ability to work under pressure and keep calm

  • Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative being proactive in approach to work

  • Displays sensitivity and confidentiality all times with first class communication skills

  • Willing to be flexible in terms of work allocated
