Operational Risk Manager - Buy Side

Job DescriptionMy client, a very well performing, established and growing buy side firm is looking to hire an Operational Risk Manager. This a broad role in a lean time which offers an incredible opportunity for growth and professional development.Responsibilities include:Engage with senior stakeholders and assurance functions to manage and report operational risks.Lead assurance reviews in business areas, particularly during periods of change and growth.Support technical work such as stress testing, scenario analysis, and risk quantification.Review and challenge Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across the business.Conduct root cause analysis of operational risk events and oversee 1st line remediation.Provide 2nd line oversight of third-party relationships and business projects.Enhance operational resilience, business continuity, and crisis management frameworks.Deliver training to improve understanding and ownership of operational risk.Analyse risk data and produce reports for risk committees.Collaborate with other Risk and assurance functions to strengthen the integrated assurance model.Skills and Experience Required:Hands-on experience with operational risk management tools.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to build relationships across the 3 lines of defence.Commercial approach to risk management for continuous improvement.Desire to enhance the Operational Risk Management framework and deliver value.Apply now or drop me a line to discuss further #####
