Operational Risk Manager - Asset Manager/Pensions

Job DescriptionMiryco Consultants is partnered exclusively with a high-performing and fast growing Investment Management business who are looking to add an Operational Risk Manager to the team.You will act as a senior team member, providing 2nd line oversight and assurance to the business, building genuine partnerships and building key relationships in order to challenge effectively.This is an ideal role for Risk Managers who like to take a hands on approach to their work.Overview:Engage with Senior Stakeholders across the business to ensure key operational risks are identified and mitigated.Lead delivery of in-depth reviews of business operations and the surrounding control environment, particularly areas of change and growth.Support the team’s technical work including stress testing, scenario analysis, and operational risk quantification;Provide review, guidance and challenge to the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (‘RCSA’) process. Carrying out root cause analysis and overseeing 1st line remediation activity.Development and enhancement of the Operational Resilience, business continuity, and crisis management frameworks;Actively contribute to risk committees.Desired Experience:Preferably 7-10 years of relevant experience within Op/Enterprise Risk.Experience working with Insurance/Asset Management.Strong project management experience.Excellent stakeholder management skills.Location: LondonSalary: £90,000 - £140,000Please note our client is unable to offer sponsorship for this opportunity.
