Operational Finance Supervisor

Opus People Solutions are seeking an Operational Finance Supervisor to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

We work on a hybrid basis with two or three days in the office and the same at home, giving you a better work life balance.

The main responsibility of this position is to assist the Business Support Manager and the wider business in executing Operational Financial and Business Functions. This includes an element of line management.

An previous experience within recruitment, payroll IR35 and AWR is highly advantageous to be successful with your application.

Day to day, you will:

• Provide comprehensive support and oversight for all operational financial transactions, including Payroll Processing, Margin Reporting, and Pay Adjustments.
• Conduct regular reviews and monitoring of margins, variances, and potential risks, providing insightful feedback as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Team to address any discrepancies and rectify variances efficiently.
• Monitor and manage various payment types, including processing payments for 'Off-Payroll' workers.
• Maintain and update calculators used for rate determination, particularly regarding changes in AWR or Statutory Employment regulations.
• Generate ad hoc reports as requested by the business and/or clients.
• Assist in financial aspects of implementations and projects across the organisation.
• Support with audit queries, ensuring compliance and accuracy of financial records.
