A multinational operation with a UK headquarters in the North East.Job DescriptionLeading a team of engineers, the Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for identification and delivery of improvement projects across 4 manufacturing facilities.Day to day responsibility will includeCreate and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and productivity in alignment with company goals and industry best practices.Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement streamlined and standardised procedures across the manufacturing operations.Collaborate with various departments including production, engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure seamless operations.Lean Six Sigma Implementation: Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce defects, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.Provide training, mentorship, and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellenceThe Successful ApplicantThe successful Operational Excellence Manager will possess a range of the following:Demonstrable background in project delivery within a manufacturing environmentProven in identification and delivery of process improvement opportunityAn analytical, data-led approachIdeally exposure to high-tech manufactureThis website has app functionality.
