We are seeking a Director of Operational Excellence to guide our strategic planning efforts and elevate our performance management practices. This position entails refining our operational processes and ensuring that our strategic initiatives are in harmony with our overarching objectives.
Your responsibilities will include pinpointing opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency and advancing our approach to measuring and managing performance. The role demands an individual with a robust background in bringing strategic visions to fruition and driving performance optimisation.
The ideal candidate will possess a methodical problem-solving aptitude and a strategic outlook, underpinned by a track record of enacting meaningful change within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Direct the creation and execution of operational excellence initiatives, coordinating closely vital stakeholders (PMO, IT, HR, etc.) for widespread organisational enhancements
Facilitate company planning and performance management processes, working in close partnership with Strategy teams and Extended Leadership to ensure cohesive execution and alignment
Collaborate with management to define and prioritise company focus areas
Enhance cross-functional teamwork, specifically aiming for alignment between different departments and successful achievement of shared objectives
Discover and spearhead opportunities to boost operational efficiency and create business value through targeted process improvements.
Communicate progress, results, and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
About you:
Minimum of 10 years of total professional experience, including at least 5 years specifically in operational excellence or related fields
Proven track record of leading company-wide initiatives and driving operational improvements
Experience in project management and strategic planning
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organisation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organisation
Experience with OKRs framework and performance management methodologies.
