The Operational Development Engineer (Technical Spares Review) is responsible for supporting the Pre-Operations Spares Engineering Lead in the delivery of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) operational Supply Chain Strategy.
The successful individual will be required to work within a team to deliver the approved spares strategies for all systems across Hinkley Point C Power Station
This will included technical analysis, optimisation, selection, approval, and procurement of strategic and non-strategic spare parts. The role also will involve liaising with a wide range of stakeholders and monitoring spend against a budget.

The role of Operational Development Engineer sits within the Spares Engineering Team, which is part of Spares and Procurement Engineering Team.
The Spares and Procurement Engineering Team is part of the Pre Operations Engineering Programme. The Engineering Programme covers key operational engineering activities, including Equipment Reliability, Surveillance Programmes, Spares and Procurement Engineering, Fuel Route, and Outage Management
