With expertise in offshore and onshore facilities, we're recognised for our commitment to excellence, recently nominated for digital innovation at the Ground Engineering Awards 2023.Your impact: As an Onshore/Offshore Laboratory Technician, you will have the exciting opportunity to undertake soil testing in our onshore laboratory and provide support to our offshore operations. Your responsibilities will include sample logging, laboratory testing, quality assurance, and data entry under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager.The Job: Adhering to Geoquip Marine Policies and Procedures, particularly focusing on quality, health, safety, and the environment. Participating in health and safety talks, meetings, or training. Preparing, testing, and analyzing samples using laboratory tools or testing equipment. Recording and processing test data. Performing daily and weekly equipment checks. Ensuring timely execution of laboratory tests. Undertaking any other duties deemed necessary within your competence and function. Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Performing geotechnical description and laboratory testing of soil and rock samples. Producing borehole logs. Quality control of collected data.
