Online Merchandising Specialist

Onsite in Manchester City Centre (M4)

�25,000 - �32,000 DOE

I'm working with a very exciting client within the fashion industry who are looking for a Online Merchandiser to join their team! The brands within the group focus on streetwear and athleisure so anyone will experience in these styles is preferred, however any fashion experience is welcomed!

You will be responsible for stock management across retail, web and wholesale stores, will work with their trading team to ensure that key lines are being merchandised correctly and that stock cover is acceptable.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor key trading tasks such as stock management, fragmentation, and slow movers.
  • Liaise closely with merchandising, operations, and customer service teams to improve efficiencies, trade, and customer experience.
  • Take ownership of our WMS software and how it's utilised across the business.
  • Be highly involved in UAT site testing for development projects and the regular site walks to always ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the e-Commerce team for onsite optimizations such as product recommendations, upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and search improvements.
  • Create a bi-weekly free stock list and trading plan for wholesale partners and build up relationships that allow clear communication channels.
  • Reporting on e-Commerce trade performance including KPIs, providing data-driven insight, and conducting deep dives were needed to better understand shopping behaviours and trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in merchandising role within the fashion / retail or similar industries.
  • Strong excel ability including pivot tables, advanced filtering and Vlookups/Xlookups.
  • Hands-on experience of an e-Commerce platform - Shopify Plus would be desirable, but not a necessity.
  • Knowledgeable of analytical tools for performance measurement, determine improvements and innovations.
  • An understanding of e-Commerce UX, content and development projects, and intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with multiple high profile wholesale partners.
