Global leading IT consultancy, with over 25,000 employees, seeks an experienced Physical Oil Trading ETRM Solution Architect to join their European Oil Trading Consulting Practice.
Based from anywhere in Europe, but preferably the UK as my client has a London European HQ.
This role can be 100% remotely based with occasional travel to client site when needed . There is no requirement to have to travel into a London office.
The successful Physical Oil ETRM Solution Architect will join as a Physical Oil Subject Matter Expert (SME) offering industry guidance, supporting project teams at every stage of the solution development lifecycle. This is a senior position so is looking for a Manager, Senior Manager or Director grade ETRM professional who will join the company’s senior management/leadership team.
This role could be solely acting as an Oil Trading SME with no people leadership, OR could involve getting more involved in people leadership and staff development. You’ll work with several concurrent clients, not in a direct hands on project delivery role, but working with clients to understand their business processes, identify pain points and define solution requirements. You’ll provide functional leadership though in complex, multi-phased projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations, project timelines and budget constraints.
Salary: Flexible but circa £100-120k basic + 10% bonus + benefits (£140k overall financial package)
Key skills sought:
Deep Physical Oil Trading ETRM and Logistics knowledge and commercial experience, gained working ideally in a similar Solution Architect role, although could be working in a Senior / Lead Business Analyst role and want to grow into a full Solution Architect role
This role is NOT suitable though for a mid level ETRM Business Analyst, it needs someone to have had exposure to Solution Architecture, possibly as part of a Senior BA role, but obviously ideally in a formal Solution Architect role
Knowledge of LNG Trading and other Energy/Commodities
Previous client facing / consulting experience is desirable but definitely not essential
Degree educated ideally
UK or Irish passport holder or hold a visa allowing you to live and work in the UK without any sponsorship as my client won’t sponsor visas
