Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Offline Programmer with experience in programming 3 and 5 axis machines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and accurate programming of machinery to produce composite components to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop CNC programs for 3 and 5 axis machines using offline programming software.

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create accurate machining instructions.

Optimise tool paths and machining parameters to maximize efficiency and minimize production time.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of CNC programs into manufacturing processes.

Conduct tooling and fixture design reviews to support CNC programming requirements.

Perform machine simulations and verifications to validate program integrity and identify potential issues.

Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs as needed to resolve machining challenges.

Maintain accurate documentation of CNC programs and revisions for future reference.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC machining technology.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience as a CNC programmer, particularly with 3 and 5 axis machines.

Proficiency in offline programming software (e.g., Mastercam, Tebis, GibbsCAM, CATIA).

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometric dimensions, and tolerances.

Familiarity with composite materials and manufacturing processes is preferred.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
