Our client, a leading specialty insurer in the heart of London City is seeking an
Office Services Manager
to join their team.
You will be responsible for delivering office services and facilities and providing excellent customer service to staff, suppliers and visitors. You will have overall responsibility for office management, reception, catering and health and safety for our client's global office locations.
Some of your responsibilities include:
Lease, accommodation and building management, ensuring statutory compliance and regular liaison with estate managers.
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy
Manage the building services contract including maintenance of mechanical and electrical services, repairs and keep records.
Manage building services including sanitary ware, vending machines, cleaning contracts, security systems, door access control and alarms, in-house maintenance, internal decoration, switchboard, reception, post room services, storage and archiving.
All aspects of health and safety in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Lead Facilities’ Business Continuity management / Operational Resilience for all office locations.
Plan and project manage desk moves, reorganisation, redecoration. Office repairs and relocations.
Manage the procurement, stock and storage for office supplies, stationery, furniture, and office equipment (other than IT equipment) and liaise with suppliers.
Responsible for the annual Office Services and Catering budgets and quality of service.
Management of the catering function
Lead and manage the staff delivering facilities services, catering, reception, and postal services
About you:
You will have worked in a similar role, managing multiple offices, ideally in a financial services or insurance environment.
You will have solid experience in office administration at management level.
You will have experience in managing office support team members.
You will have relevant experience in Health and Safety.
You will have managed a budget previously and have good project management skills.
You will be confident communicating with senior leaders and other relevant stakeholders.
