This role is a 32 hour a week role so 0.9 of a full time equivalent, with a salary of up to £33,000 for those 32 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily management and supervision of business services teams (7 direct reports across Exeter and Taunton)
Ensure office supplies, resources and consumables are stocked.
Work with all members of the IT and Business Services team.
Work with other Office Managers, covering where necessary and assisting with ensuring cover is maintained by managing the rota.
Organise regular meetings.
Work with the Events Manager to ensure events are executed in a professional and cost-efficient manner.
Manage desk and office moves alongside the Facilities Manager.
Obtain competitive quotations for any works required.
Assist with the recruitment & training of new staff.
Make sure HR records are kept updated, new starter inductions and performance appraisals.
Ensure the site accident book is kept up to date.
Act as Fire Marshall.
Responsible for Health and Safety audits.
Complete all site Risk Assessments.
Desired Skills/Experience:
Ability to build positive working relationships with direct reports.
Excellent observation and organisational skills – with attention to detail.
Demonstration of a flexible approach.
Previous Office Management experience
Experience in using office and meeting room equipment.

Working pattern: Monday – 09:00-16:00 Tuesday – 09:00-17:00 Wednesday - 09:00-17:00 Thursday - 09:00-17:00 Friday – 09:00-15:00
