We specialise in the recruitment of high quality candidates in the Administration sector. We have an excellent opportunity for an Office Manager to join a primary school in London. You will also take on the role of Deputy Safeguarding Lead supporting the Lead.Temp to Perm – Term Time Only + 3 weeks (36 hours per week)£29,364 - £31,887 per annum FTE (£26,780 - £29,081 Pro-rata)Office Manager’s Core DutiesLine manage school’s administrative staffManage all administrative functions (email, diary, attendance, health & safety, finance)Produce reports, letters and presentationsCoordinate all correspondence and handle enquiries with discretionLiaise with internal and external contactsHost school visitors, ensuring guests are escorted appropriatelyOversee pupil attendance, ensuring compliance with SafeguardingSupport the HR Manager with recruitment and induction of new staff and pupilsEnsure that all pupil data is up to date and Census compliantProvide advice and guidance on administration systems and eventsReview all purchase requisitions raised and prepare purchase ordersPerform Health and Safety audits and risk assessmentsDeputy Safeguarding Lead’s Core DutiesEnsure risk assessments are in place and regularly evaluatedManage concerns raised on the schools safeguarding systemRegular train staff on safeguarding matters (i.e. weekly bulletins, meetings, newsletters)Office Manager & Deputy Safeguarding Lead’s Skills RequiredDegree educated (desirable)Qualification in relevant subject (DSL training)5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)Office Manager & Deputy Safeguarding Lead’s Key ExperienceDealing with employee queries/concerns in a professional mannerWorking in a clerical or administrative roleExperience of safer recruitmentWorking in a HR role in a school/education setting for at least 2 years (desirable)Experience with HR systems such as SIMS (desirable)Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding (desirable)Knowledge of employment law (desirable)Are you enthusiastic about the Office Manager & Deputy Safeguarding Lead job?
