Do you have a hunger for success and a desire to learn?Do you have experience in working in a client facing role?If so, Osborne Appointments are currently recruiting for an Office Assistant permanent position to join our successful client in Harpenden.Free parking25 days holidaySocial events!Office Assistant- Key Responsibilities:Customer ServiceAnswering helpdesk calls with confidence and taking clear concise messages.Logging jobs on the Vantage CRM and communicating with the field team to ensure they have received the job.Updating spreadsheets with new and terminated clients (PM and One Stop)StockDealing with consumable requests including creating orders through Vantage, monitoring purchase orders and tracking items to ensure delivery.Ordering chargeable consumables ensuring invoices are raised in finance for example for staples.Ordering parts from engineer tickets and adding any new parts to the system when required. Ensuring these are logged on the appropriate spreadsheet.Supporting the Call Controller carrying out monthly stock takes.Other DutiesAssisting with billingMaintaining central office supplies including stationery, kitchen supplies etcLogging team holiday and absence once approved (if necessary) onto the absence scheduler.Managing branded stock such as letterhead, business cards, folders etcEngineer equipment and uniform ordering.Monthly planner updates.Filing – creating new files where necessary.Delivery note scanning and logging.Office Assistant- Skills Personal Qualities:Customer service experience. This is a role that requires excellent team working capability and someone who has been working in a role dealing with customers on a daily basis would be ideal.The role requires excellent time management skillsIt is essential that you are a team player with strong telephone skills. Being a good communicator, both verbally & written.You need to be calm and collected under pressure and know when to ask for help.
