Office Assistant (Logistics and Fulfilment)GlycanAge is a fast-growing health and longevity startup based on groundbreaking glycan research whose flagship product, the first-ever biological age test which determines the state of one’s immune system, launched in 2020 to offer consumers personalised advice for health and lifestyle changes.We are looking for a detail-oriented ambitious individual, who can work in a dynamic startup environment and deal well with ambiguity.As an Office Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our logistics and fulfilment tasks with your organisational skills and attention to detail. You'll help keep our operations running smoothly by coordinating shipments, keeping track of inventory, and providing admin support where it's needed. Working closely with various teams, your work will ensure that orders get fulfilled on time and processes stay efficient.Responsibilities:1. Order Processing and Fulfillment: - Receive and process incoming orders accurately and efficiently. - Prepare shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers. - Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries. - Maintain accurate records of shipments and track delivery status. - Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies. - Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.2. Inventory Management: - Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages or surpluses. - Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to reconcile stock discrepancies. - Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient workflow. - Work with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock as needed.3. Administrative Support: - Provide general administrative support to the office as needed. - Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining office documents. - Handle incoming calls and emails related to logistics inquiries. - Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with inventory management software.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.Ability to lift and carry packages, as needed.Fluent in English language (written and spoken)Part-time or full-time options available within our main HQ at The Catalyst, Newcastle Upon TyneIs this you?
