We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and well liked plastic product manufacturing company based in Hebden Bridge who are looking to add an Office Administrator to the team due to an upcoming retiree.



The role shall be comprised of the following:




  • Building and maintaining good relationships with our customer / supplier base.

  • Stock Control�

  • Timely buying of raw materials ensuring competitive prices are paid.

  • Assessing of any potential new suppliers

  • Providing Customers with quotations.

  • Maintaining Price Lists

  • Implementing Price Increases

  • Processing of orders

  • Raising job sheets

  • Liasing with production

  • Arranging despatch and booking appropriate transport in a timely manner

  • Raising of despatch notes and then pricing of notes before passing to accounts for invoicing.

  • Ensuring that the order/sales system is kept up to date.

  • First point of contact for new enquiries and general callers.

  • Responding to customer queries.

  • Any other duties that may arise�

  • A friendly confident telephone manner is essential along with general computer skills on Word, Excel and Access.



Working Monday - Thursday 8:30am-5pm and Friday 8:30am-12pm.



To be considered you will have an office-based background, ideally within a manufacturing / production company, but not essential.



You'll�be working in a small team of genuinely lovely, down to other people, from the shop floor up to the Directors, this should be a great move for someone for the long term!
