Job Purpose To manage the bulk offal area of the abattoir, and the functions surrounding the packing of offal and the employees working in the area, whilst adhering to company quality and safety standards within the product, people, equipment, and environment of direct responsibility. To ensure that all the offal is packed, whilst adhering to the correct customer specification, maintain site hygiene and labelling standards for all products whilst maximizing efficiency.Added Value for role: To ensure all products are packed correctly, right first time, and managing manning levels where possible to stay within budgets.Role Key Accountabilities Added Value
Day to day running of the bulk offal packing department.
Ensure health and safety standards are met and followed by all staff.
Ensure all employees are trained in all relevant tasks, and employees are following the SOP’s for all tasks.
Ensure the offal department is clean and tidy during production and that the walk away standards are adhered to daily.
Manage all employees and build a functional team that delivers quality to our customers.
Time Management, attend meetings where needed, raise any issues with abattoir supervisor, ensure production is working efficiently, manage attendance and lost time in the offal department.
