My client is looking to add to their ever-growing team and are looking for an Ocean Import Operator
�
Job Role
As an ocean freight operator, you will be part of a team, providing excellent customer service, clearance, quotes, arranging shipments and deliveries.
�
Duties & Responsibilities

• Working closely with internal and external customers and the operations manager
• Meeting tight deadlines
• Issuing and arranging collections and deliveries
• Creating and booking shipments
• Managing tight deadlines

Skills & Experience

• Proven operational experience�
• Previous ocean import operational experience
• Knowledge in of the international transportation and logistics industry, in ocean freight�
• Excellent customer service skills and understanding of IT systems
• Ability to negotiate and invoice
• Full customs knowledge on CDS
