A Global Freight Forwarder are actively seeking an Ocean Import Operator to join their expanding team based in Sale. This exciting opportunity offers the successful applicant a chance to join a multi award winning company and to join a team that truly looks after their people as well as their customers. This vacancy is available due to the exceptional growth of the freight forwarding operation and represents the ambition and opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Manage Ocean imports from start to finish
• Support the air import team
• Complete custom declarations
• Produce quotes
• Invoice jobs on completion
• Negotiate with shipping lines

Requirements

• Ocean fright experience - essential
• Experience completing customs entries
• Cargowise experience
• Have previously held a similar position: Freight forwarder, Ocean Freight operator, Sea freight clerk, Ocean freight coordinator, Sea Freight coordinator
