Ocean Import Operator - Cannock

As the Ocean Import Operator you will be an integral part of the Freight division dealing with agents and customers to arrange, monitor and complete shipments across ocean import requirements including customs entries.

Description

The Ideal Ocean Import Operator will have the following tasks:

* Receiving bookings from customers / agents.
* Preparation and completion of customs entries.
* Speaking to shipping lines / carriers / customers and hauliers.
* Checking vessel arrival dates.
* Maintaining customer spreadsheets where required.
* Ensuring correct documentation is presented / obtained.
* Raising invoices to customers / agents.

The successful Ocean Import Operator will have the following skills and attributes:

* Ocean Import Experience
* Great communication and organisation skills

* Ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative.
