Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 8PP
Full time, permanent
37 hours (Monday Friday)
Grade 8: £48,474 - £52,530

This pivotal role offers the chance for the successful post holder to contribute to ensure that this workforce has a healthy and fit workforce to ensure it can continue to provide an excellent service to Nottinghamshire. The role will offer the chance for the post holder to work in a dynamic team environment where innovation and the development of the OH service will be key priorities.

Key responsibilities:
Lead Occupational Health to meet high standards and targets and supervise the OH team ensuring that that all opportunities for development are taken.
Conduct medicals, health screenings and consultations while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Maintain secure, accurate and relevant medical records.
Develop and implement policies and strategies to enhance the health and fitness of NFRS employees.
Help to coordinate training programmes.
Manage OH budgets and coordinate the use of contractors.
Experience / Qualifications:
Registered nurse and be a qualified OH Advisor (part 3 NMC) specialist practitioner or equivalent
Substantial experience of delivering OH services, health screenings, case management and promoting wellbeing
Experience of managing staff and providing training and briefings to a range of audiences
