What Does The Team Do
The Enterprise Applications team is focused on providing business applications and services which are supported, stable and streamlined to enable Ocado teams to work in a clear, controlled and cost effective manner.
In this role you will be expected to manage the governance of all environments and release management through the phases of deployment.
The role will need to initially set the guidelines and governance of environment and release management, then monitor and control the roles and responsibilities once access and configuration takes place.
There will be a need to identify and escalate risks and issues up to the Programme manager, IT Delivery and Senior Leadership Team Process Leads as appropriate with respect to all areas of Instances utilised within the programme. You will work within the programme to manage environments, coordinate releases and ensure access and controls are in place across the platforms.
What would I be doing?
Facilitate meetings at each phase of the implementation (design, build, test, cutover) and ensure the provision of Oracle Cloud instances are available for the Solution Integrator delivering Oracle Cloud Application Services and incumbent client system interfaces.
Support the implementation with the necessary cloud instances cloned, from either Production to Test or Test to Test via RFCs in the Oracle Support Portal.
Oversee the delivery and access of instances through the implementation lifecycle.
Coordinate environments across ALL vendors that Ocado subscribes to, as well as the control and maintenance of said environments.
Work with the Oracle Customer Success Manager and the Oracle Portal for Request For Changes”, Service Requests and Configuration Management.
Work all parties within the programme to ensure the right level of access is provided to each member to support their role within the access of systems.
Review and provide the stage gate framework for Configuration and Code Promotion through the phases of the programme.
Help establish a robust mechanism to track releases, upgrades and changes to all environments including the patching cadence.
Manage and communicate environmental risks and issues to the programme.
What We Are Looking For
Experience and Understanding of Oracle Financials, PPM, EPM, GRC SaaS suite.
Previous experience in managing and monitoring the RFC processes
Functional Setup Manager experience within Oracle Cloud Applications
People skills to facilitate meetings between system technical partners within delivery and incumbent/legacy applications
Strong knowledge within the Oracle Applications and Technology – SaaS (Oracle Software as a Solution) Cloud footprint in order to coordinate code promotion and versioning
Experience of Oracle Application, Reporting and Integration Middleware environment management
Previous experience of environment and release management from at least 3 projects
This would make you stand out from the crowd
Ability to audit and use tools such as Config Snapshot, Panaya or other similar products
People skills across all levels
Have the ability to draw on consulting expertise and knowledge base as required
