Nursery Teaching Assistant

Flourish Education are recruiting a Nursery Teaching Assistant to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary School in the Wombourne area to join their support staff on a long-term basis. The Nursery is very child-centred and the children spend much of their day engaged in self-directed learning.

Our client is looking to appoint a passionate Nursery Teaching Assistant who has good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and prior experience of working within a Nursery setting. The school is child led and free flowing meaning children choose to engage in a range of different activities, indoors and outdoors.

This Nursery Teaching Assistant role will start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year. The position is full time, the hours are 8:30am – 3.30pm.

Required Skills and Experience for this Nursery Teaching Assistant role:

• Experience working in schools in the UK
• Minimum Level 2 qualification
• Experience in EYFS
• Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children
• Motivating and encouraging the children
• Support with learning and development
• Commitment to the role
