Nursery Room Leader

We are excited to be recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader to join our wonderful twos to three age group room at Colets Nursery. Our beautiful nursery is based in Thames Ditton, just 5 minutes walk from Thames Ditton Station. We also have on site parking.
Our 99 place nursery offers full time childcare to children aged 3 months to 5 years old. The nursery forms part of a multiuse childcare department that is joined to a health & fitness centre. Colets Childcare prides itself on being a huge part of the community. We work closely with our families to provide the best childcare experience. Our children visit various places near by as part of their weekly timetable.
We are very fortunate to have fantastic on site facilities which the children get great use of. Our children swim, play football, have Spanish lessons, soft play sessions and huge grounds to play on.
Our team of dedicated Educators are exceptionally well educated in all things early years. They take great pride in the delivery of stimulating, fun and engaging activities for our lovely children.
This is an exciting time to join our lovely team. We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- Is either an experienced Educator who is looking for their next step or is an existing Room Leader
- Is well organised and efficient in running a room
- Is confident to lead well under pressure and is able to give feedback to their room team
- Enjoys coaching and supporting other playworkers & educators
- Has great personable skills and is able to use these to form outstanding relationships with parents
- Has exceptional knowledge of the EYFS, Statutory Framework and Safeguarding
- Has report writing experience
- Has parents evening experience
- Enjoys working with and planning for toddlers
- Is flexible and committed
- Has a 'can do' attitude

This is a fulltime role, 40 hours per week but working 4 days. The rota is sent out two weeks in advance.
Successful applicants will be required to have a full and enhanced DBS and offers will be subject to receipt of successful references.
