Nursery Room Leader – Croydon

Role: Room Leader (NVQ level 3 or above)Hours: 40 hours a week – (Full time)Area: CroydonOur client is seeking an experienced Level 3 qualified Room Leader at their growing nursery in the Croydon area.Responsibilities include:Supporting Staff in the allocated rooms and ensuring adult/child ratios are metObserving children and managing their learning and development recordsTo work with EYFS Curriculum and planning exciting age-appropriate activities both indoors and outdoorsBe a key person, complete observations and reports where required.To build positive relationships parents and OfstedWorking to nursery policy and procedures in relation to Safeguarding and Health & SafetyAttending staff meetings and training as requiredTo maintain confidentialityMust be Level 3 qualifiedMust have 2 referencesMust be a strong team player and leaderCandidate Requirements:Relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification, or be training towards achieving this qualificationA current DBSThe right to work in the UKA minimum of 1-2 years’ experience within an Early Years settingExcellent knowledge of the EYFSFunctional Skills English and Maths.This is a fantastic opportunity to join the nurseries growing team.
