Job descriptionEarly Years PractitionerOur client is a 103-place day nursery open from 8am to 6pm all year round. We have three individual units for our different age groups and are set within large grounds and gardens.Early Years Practitioner day to day duties include:key person for a group of childrenobserve and plan activities for children.Track and monitor children's development.Supporting the running of the room.Maintaining high standards of quality.Maintain excellent relationships with parent/carers.Early Years Practitioner RequirementsNVQ 2 or 3 or higher in Early yearsPaediatric first aid (preferred)Role is subject to DBS checks and safe recruitment procedures.What we are looking for in the Early Years Practitioner:A fantastic, enthusiastic practitioner, who has a genuine interest in helping children and babies develop and learn; whilst ensuring they are loved and nurtured in a caring environment.We look for those who want to work with children, not just because the hours suit, or it is close by, but because it is something they have always wanted to do.
