Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery settingPlan and implement activities to meet the individual needs of childrenEnsure the health, safety, and well-being of all childrenBuild positive relationships with children, parents, and colleaguesMaintain accurate records and observations of children's developmentSupport children's emotional and social developmentFollow nursery policies and procedures
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) or equivalentDBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearanceFirst Aid training
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years settingKnowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Understanding of child development and learning theoriesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a teamStrong organisational and time management skills
Level 2 Food Hygiene CertificateSafeguarding training
Work primarily indoors in a nursery settingMay involve standing for long periods and lifting childrenRequired to follow health and safety guidelines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
