Nursery Nurse / Early Years Teaching Assistant

An inspiring, creative Primary School in Barry is looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Nurse to join their nursery class on a long term basis ASAP.

This will be a full time role working within the Nursery Class.

Working hours will be 8:30 - 15:30, Monday - Friday, Term time only.

This school has a strong emphasis on learning through play, with a view to working collectively to deliver a well rounded education, whilst encouraging imagination and independence.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (2:2 or above) in Early Childhood Studies or a Level 3 qualification in Childcare a strong academic record and experience working with Early Years Children for a minimum of 3 months.

Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Studies - desirable
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare - desirable
  • Proven experience working with Early Years Children (3 months minimum)
  • Successful track record of improving pupils performance
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police check
